This is my first game, and it is also a course project for a game design class.

Player Manual
Overview
You are a diver who becomes trapped in an unknown underwater cave. Just as panic sets in, you discover you are not alone—a frail man in tattered clothes sits near the cave's entrance. He claims to know the way out but warns that escape is only possible if you retrieve three ancient relics hidden deep within the cave. According to him, these relics will unlock a sealed stone gate—the only passage to freedom. With no other choice, you set out to uncover the relics and find your way back to the surface...
Basic Mechanics

Two sets of physics systems: On-Ground and Under-Water

On-Ground:

Greater gravity

Faster x-axis movement

Slower x-axis movement

Oxygen limit

Death conditions
You will fail the game if any of the following occur:-
Running out of oxygen while underwater

Touching spikes
-
Being caught by whatever is chasing you
You will not lose the relics you already collected after you respawn.

Saving point:
Keep an eye on the glowing crystals. Touch them and you will be respawned near them when you die.
Basic Controls

On-ground movement:

⬅️ - Walk left

➡️ - Walk right
-
"x" - Jump
-
⬆️ - Chat with NPC / Interact with the saving point

⬇️ - Interact with the door

Under-water movement:
-
⬅️ - Swim left
-
➡️ - Swim right
-
"x" - Swim upward

Game Feature
-
Try to switch between on-ground and underwater mode using the 'floating water' in the landscape to go over the obstacles in the map!
